What working with Noah actually looks like

Most people have been burned once. A quote that arrived four days late and then doubled. A crew of people they had never met. A guy who was great for two days and then disappeared for a week to go finish somebody else’s job.

1. You reach out

Call or text (813) 692-4455, or fill out the quote form. Photos help enormously. Two pictures of the room and a sentence about what is bugging you usually gets you a real answer without anybody driving anywhere.

Noah reads these himself. There is no dispatcher and no queue. Expect to hear back the same day, usually within a few hours.

2. He looks at it

For most jobs he will want to see it in person before quoting. That visit is free and it is not a sales pitch. He will tell you what he would do, what he would skip, and where you are about to spend money that will not show.

He will also tell you when a job is not his. If the fix needs an electrician, a plumber, a roofer or a licensed contractor, you will hear that on the first visit instead of three days into demo.

3. You get a number, in writing

A defined scope gets a flat price before anything starts. Small or unpredictable work is hourly, and he says so up front so you are not watching the clock and guessing.

What is included is written down. What is not included is written down. Nobody enjoys the conversation that starts with “well, I assumed that was part of it.”

4. He does the work

The person who quoted your job is the person standing in your kitchen. Same guy, every day, until it is finished. He is not juggling four sites and rotating a crew between them.

Floors get covered. Furniture gets moved and protected. The work area gets cleaned at the end of every day, not just at the end of the job. Your house stays livable.

5. You walk it before he leaves

You look at it together. Anything you are not happy with gets fixed before it is called done. That is not a warranty policy, it is just how a one-man operation has to work, because there is nobody else to blame.

What a typical job looks like

• A single room repaint in Wesley Chapel: one day, including patching, caulking, cutting in and two coats.
• Popcorn ceiling removal in a 1980s New Port Richey house: two to four days per phase, including skim, prime and paint. Asbestos test first if the home predates 1980.
• Baseboard and crown through a 2,200 square foot Land O’ Lakes home: three to four days, including removal, install, fill, caulk and paint.
• Tile in a main living area: three to five days, because thinset and grout need cure time and rushing them costs you the floor.
• A stacked repair list: blinds, shelves, a TV mount, two sticking doors and a fence gate, all in one visit. Cheaper than four separate trip charges.
